docs: add more badges to README.md #162

This adds more badges to README.md, and also changes "project" to "package" in the workflow action definition.

The test coverage is currently static, I couldn't find a way to make it dynamic just with GitHub Actions. We'll have to subscribe the repo to a (free for FLOSS code) service like Coveralls.

Looks cool!

One odditiy, all the badges are clickable.

Of those, some of them take you to page that just shows a picture of the badge, which is kinda useless. Can you make them not clickable, or have them take you somewhere meaningful. They are: coverage, commit activity, last commit, and contributors

Finally, license tries to do something but nothing happens.

I tried using HTML markup for the badges, but Github insists on putting meaningless links around it, so I made the unavoidable links point somewhere meaningful.

The license badge pointed to the CopyFree website that wasn't responding (it's up again now). I changed it to point to the local LICENSE file.

Now I'm not having the badges load right off. I need to reload several times. If links cause them to not load at all, and links can't be turned off, then I guess I would prefer the useless gif link.

Looks like this on my wired desktop: shield

But I wonder if they would look correct if this was on master? Maybe shield.io is limited on a random commit? I think it's worth merging to see what happens.

Actually, license just broke forme on master.

Actually again, most of the badges on their repo aren't loading for me. Maybe a temporary thing. https://github.com/badges/shields
