More and more events happen around the world, which is great. But it's getting messy. Sometimes the chat room learns about events after they happen. Some events move or get canceled. It's hard to dig info for DJ.

It would be awesome to put all known events into a public self-hosted calendar like this:

That one runs as part of the Phabricator suite as noted here. I don't fully like it but it's a good example.

We can start with a cloud (not self) hosted calendar, the most important is to own the data. If we can make regular data pulls and load them later into our self-hosted thing, that would work.
