According to stats presented in the DCR Comic proposal, Instagram is an important platform where Decred presence is lacking. There are decredbr (578 followers) and decred_es (159 followers) accounts but none for English that I know of.
Afaik, it is not about just posting images, an increasing number of people is using it to post texts (and even bypasses platform's text limit by posting additional parts in first comments under the post).
It would be great to have a stable flow of Decred updates on Instagram, properly tagged to reach the right audience. Resource-wise this requires a few people who actively use this platform to take this task and maintain the account. On the design front this requires to prepare images in a format that fits Instagram (square).
