Many cryptocurrency projects need a blockchain explorer but use a ready one like Insight or https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ .

Tell a story behind dcrdata. How and why it started, how is it different from other explorers inside and outside, what is the vision, what awesome features are planned next.

Very few projects can afford their own explorer written from scratch. This should be used in PR.

Telling the story of dcrdata and what it does is an excellent idea. It is a phenomenal block explorer all-round and covers the novel PoS related aspects of Decred's blockchain very well. I think the dcrdata story would make a very interesting read.
