[FE2] RxJava2 is not supported anymore and should be upgraded to RxJava3 #835

The 2.x version is end-of-life as of February 28, 2021. The app should upgrade to 3.x

Currently, Scarlet is blocking this change as the current stable version does not support RxJava3. It is supported in the latest snapshot, but it is far from stable.

Scarlet looks like it may not get an update.

We'll have to look at the various options :

-> find an active fork of Scarlet we can use -> fork it ourselves and just maintain the parts we need -> switch to an entirely different library
