Only consider doing this if you've finished prototyping, and both you and @silatsaif agree that this game is awesome. It doesn't add anything to gameplay, but a lot to learning.

[ ] In less than ten minutes, you get a DNA match, signal strength +3
[ ] 10-20 minutes into the game, you get a probability match (50-90%), signal +2
[ ] 20-30 minutes in, you only get a type match; signal strength +1
[ ] 30+ minutes, it's useless. signal strength = 0
[ ] Murder weapon blood denatures.
[ ] Add a coroner's report on method of death.
[ ] Tie in the murder weapon, eg. knife => death by blood loss, pot => blunt trauma
[ ] Add one forensics learning thing, like body temperature, liver damage, etc.

[ ] Signal: find matching bullets in the mansion and the NPC's house. Explain the gun-specific indentation on bullets.
[ ] Lesser signal: match only the caliber of the gun (eg. .44)

[ ] Burn the area around the body, and a few random tiles
[ ] Add a pool of fluid you can find (murder weapon) which you get
[ ] You must have an empty glass vial to collect the pool of fluid
[ ] Find a bottle cap, or matches, or the bottle, in the murderer's house
[ ] Add a red-herring container of flammable fluid in the non-killer's house. The coroner's report indicates what type of fuel you're looking for.
[ ] Death by tools
[ ] Add a couple more blunt tools.
[ ] Add evidence: a chip in the mansion, near the body
[ ] Add evidence: a matching chip or piece in the murderer's house
[ ] Add a red-herring non-matching chip or evidence in someone else's house
[ ] Death by poison
[ ] Coroner's report indicates the type of poison
[ ] Find a bottle of it, or bottlecap, in the murderer's house
