This is fantastic. There are a couple of "bugs" though (can you confirm if they're features or not?)

ghost commented 6 years ago

"It's not a bug, it's a feature"™. Both of them. Anti-virus entities are annoying. They should be killable. And, because I'm too lazy to code the walls away after they die, it should serve as a strategic gameplay mechanic. "Don't kill them at the wrong time, or you could fork up your level!"

I don't agree that it's a feature. Eating anti-virus entities caused me to end up in a scenario where there's no way out: the solid walls never disappear. And, it makes more sense to make it death walls, not solid walls (why solid walls? anti-virus is there to kill.)

Also, we should add a "press space to pass a turn" mechanic for these kinds of situations. Agree? Can you add it to The List?

Because config options! you can change them to death walls if you want. Alright, I'll work on making them disappear even after the antivirus entities die, and add the "press space to pass a turn" thing. Both of them, I foresee, shouldn't be too hard.
