Tis is a convention that has been followed throughout the game. The main screen
is
displayed in background in even those events when a prize is given to the
player in
the form of WFP rewards etc.

The reason for displaying the main screen in the background is that in this
slide we
are giving a description of the village and it seems good to have a view of
village
in background.

Enhancement suggested to improve the useability:

It will be good if, the main screen showing details of 'Manpower
Distribution', 'Resources', 'Indicators' etc is shown only after the user has
completed reading the contents of the child window in Mission 1. This is for
the
following reasons:-
i.) With the Main Screen currently shown in the background, the user is presented
with too much information to go through and he ends up looking all acrross the
screen. The user should, instead, be made to focus on the text shown in the
child
screen.
ii.) The problem is compunded when he sees that the values of all the
parameters
shown under these heads start to change dynamically.

We did a series of useability tests with novice users and this is one of the
common
problems they all reported.

The 3rd and most important point is the intended audience of this game
(children)
will find it even more confusing and difficult to go through the screen

Accepted and work started.
I think showing background image in this case too would be a better idea.
