Cannot pan map on laptop w/ touchpad

The shortcut to pan the camera is space+left mouse. Unfortunately this does not work on laptops where the touchpad is turned off while typing. Pressing space counts as typing, meaning that the mouse does not react to any motion, rendering panning the camera impossible.

There is a setting in windows that prevents the touchpad turning off, however.

• The user should not have to adjust their OS settings like this.
• This option is not actually available in all versions of windows or on all hardware configurations.
• Even in cases where this option is available some manufacturers implement it in hardware and turning it off does not matter.

The alternate shortcut of middle mouse does not work either as most touchpads also do not have a middle mouse button.
