hey @oserikov I have installed deep Pavlov and I would love to get in contact with the project mentor and I want to work on this project under the guidance of mentor and gsoc'21
Hello, @oserikov I am Ritesh, I am working with the NLP domain for the past 1 yr, and have to build some scalable solutions in various domain's like healthcare, marketing, and others with task like Q/A sys, Fill in Blanks using various state of the art models like DistillBERT, Roberta, T5, and GPT-n, So I would like to work on this under Gsoc'21.
Hey! I will post some further details here ~ in the next 24hrs
Yeah sure @oserikov :)
Hi @oserikov, I would be working with the dialogue team of IBM Research, this summer. I am working on QA tasks for the last 3 years including datasets such as HotpotQA, ARC Challenge, etc. I want to work on this project for GSOC'21. Thank you
Hi @oserikov , I have previously worked with IIT Kanpur on NLP frameworks and currently working with IIPE Vizag on Optimization of tool wear and tear. I want to work on this project. Kind regards
Hello @oserikov sir,
I got to know about DeepPalov as I was working with chatbots. I really loved it! I had made a spelling corrector chatbot with the help of deeppalov. The thing that really impressed me was to implement it without coding a single line in python! From that instance, I decided to know more about it. Coincidentally, I got to know about deeppalov, taking part in GSoC'21, this doubled my excitement. I read more about the subject and found the project KBQA slightly relatable to what I have worked on. Since I have worked on various NLP projects myself, I understand how important it is to build intelligent system/features which understand human linguistics and give us valuable insights for societal advancements! It is because of this, I would love to work on refactoring KBQA under GSoC'21 so as to not only contribute towards the development of the feature but also because of my keen interest in becoming an eternal member of deeppalov.
Thanks for your consideration. Best Regards Bhavishya
Hey @Kapil-Pathak @Jeevan-Kiran-Lenka @DARK-art108 @kshitijsoni @bhav09 ! Great to see you here! While our next milestone is to integrate KBQA with various knowledge bases, an important step for now is to learn how it's working with Wikidata. So my advice is to both dive deeper into demos and to learn querying other similar KBs via both SPARQL and APIs.

Hi! @oserikov I am an undergrad student from India with an experience of 2 years in NLP and QA frameworks and I find this project interesting. I would surely like to have an opportunity of working on this project in GSOC 2021.
Hi, @oserikov I also want to contribute to the project. I have installed deeppavlov, would also go through demos as mentioned by you
Hey! See the appeared coding challenge ^_^
I am an undergrad student from NIT India . I have learnt NMT, transformers. I have a year of experience in NLP .I found this project interesting. I would really like to contribute.
Hi @oserikov. In the card for this issue, the following is mentioned
However, bringing industrial expertise to this component could make it an even more solid foundation for our users.
I have not been able to understand what is meant by that. Can you perhaps explain?
Hello @oserikov . My name is Tanu Agarwal. I am a third year undergraduate from IIT Guwahati. I am really interested in working on this project. I have been working on NLP for past whole year and would be extremely glad to contribute to refactor KBQA. My LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tanu911/
We're starting regular review sessions of your application proposals drafts.
Every Thursday you can submit Google doc with your proposal (remember the limit of 3 final proposals in total), enable commenter access in the provided link. You won't have to re-submit your proposal(s) if the link stays the same.
Proposals should follow our released template
Our mentors will review them and provide feedback on a weekly basis.

Hi, @oserikov I also want to contribute to this project. And am i late to start this now?i'm in beginner level in this area now. will that be a problem for me to complete this?
Hi @oserikov I am working with the NLP domain for the past 1 yr, and have to build some scalable solutions in various domains like object detection, finance, and others using models like BERT, CNN, and Naive-Bayes So I would like to work on this under Gsoc'21.
@abhinavszb it's never too late, but since the deadline is near, it's rather difficult. So you should either start working hard on your proposal and challenges or probably pick smth easier
@oserikov, @dmitrijeuseew Hi. please I really need feedback before the deadline.
@dmitrijeuseew Hi, I am edited my pre- proposal you can Check it .
@lotaa Hey! All the proposals review will be provided in the next ~12 hrs
Hello @oserikov ,
I Have two massage in the dashboard “Sorry Omnia Your proposal has not been selected this year. There were a lot of submissions and it was difficult to narrow it down. We encourage you to try again in the future. ” But another massage in Refactor KBQA ” You have officially submitted a GSoC 2021 application If this proposal is accepted, you will be able to edit the title and the abstract of your proposal after May 17, 2021. ” And I already able to edit the title and abstract, Is that I accepted or not? Thank you.

Coding Challenge
Grab Query Generator component and refactor it: the logic here is reasonably complicated, so we just need to make code easier to read.
