What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When generating thumbnails I get a [SIGPLUS_EXCEPTION_TIMEOUT] in two of my 
image directories
2. After that, SIGPLUS will not try to generate the thumbnails again 
3. Don't want to delete the JOOMLA-Cache

4. After waiting a while and retrying, SIGPLUS did build the thumbnails. I 
guess it is a timing thing and patience is rewarded after a while!  

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
SIGPLUS should retry building thumbnails after a failed attempt

What version of the product are you using?

Please provide any additional information below.
Is it possible to set a inline switch so that images for that directory are 
forcebly regenerated by SIGPLUS?
If I delete the JOOMLA-Cache, all thumbnails are lost, that is just not 
efficient.

What are your cache settings? See

Site / Global configuration / System / Cache settings

in the Joomla administration back-end. Browser as well as Joomla cache settings 
affect what version of the page you see, which may not be as recent as you 
might think.

Levente, I think you can close this, as it did work after all.

There is no way to force a rebuild of a single image directory, right?

sigplus does retry generating thumbnails and preview images after a failed 
attempt, continuing where the process was interrupted. Unfortunately, forcibly 
re-generating all images is not possible due to server constraints. No hosting 
provider would be happy about sigplus monopolizing all their valuable resources 
for re-generating images over and over again.

As of version 1.5.0.167, sigplus offers no administration interface to manage 
the data it has gathered, including the thumbnail and preview images that have 
been generated. The way of writing administration interfaces has been changing 
wildly between Joomla versions, whereas the plug-in and module interface has 
remained relatively stable. Due to resource constraints (time, mostly) focus is 
on features that are to remain operational for longer spans of time, unchanged. 
However, I may at one point write an administration interface, which will let 
you list the articles sigplus is used in, selectively remove thumbnail and 
preview images, etc.

When installing or reinstalling the plugin SIGPlus all minitury are generated 
again.
Even if you do not have thousands of photos on the site, this process is 
cumbersome and paralyzing the entire site.

Is it possible to install or reinstall SigPlus not generate thumbnails again 
tracked over only possibly exist?

Such an idea on this occasion.
According to me, a good idea would be to add simple tools for Administartor 
SIGPlus. • For example, the ability to generate and search errors in 
galleries or galleries that generate errors. • A list of existing galleries 
with links to the articles (subdivided into categories of articles) and the 
ability to restore selected or all gallery. 

Such tools would better manage the service with galleries SIGPlus, avoid 
obscure bugs in the user view seriwsu. A plan may be used during the 
reconstruction of the gallery such as the night so as not to paralyze the 
service and all the galleries at one time.
