the upstream release pipeline didnt target "upstream" flavor and as such only the registry1 flavor published. Upon further investigation, it appears the uds version in this repo is so old that the handling of variables and passing in defaults is not going to work as intended.
To get the release publishing correctly, uds needs to be updated to the latest version. I am not doing this via the renovate PR because it is currently groups ALL updates and not just the ones i need.
