a little verbose atm because still waiting to get clarity on if we're removing -ce from flavor upstream-ce, which would then allow us to just use the flavor as is in the bundle path (e.g. packages/uds/bundles/$FLAVOR/k3d-core-istio)

this is no longer viable because uds-core will not be publishing a registry1 flavor of k3d-core-istio.
