The phrasing is distinct. "YOU RAILED SOMEBODY" vs "SOMEBODY RAILED YOU".

Additionally, isn't it obvious from context? If you didn't die then it's obviously not a death message

uh maybe the issue is that theyre really small on my screen and msot of the time u dont read the whole thing

I maintain the point that the context makes it clear. If you didn't die, it's a kill message. If you died, it's a death message. You don't need to read it.

Well yes the notifications are just an ordinary UI element so they suffer from the same issue as the rest of the UI
