Battledudes.io Fandom update #112

The Fandom of Battledudes.io is a useful source for not only new players to search for game info but also anyone who wants the picture files of the guns. But as updates moved on less and less of the fandom is updated. Some of the stats are outdated and there's many confusing discription of guns like flintlock. I appreciate whoever is spending their time on it but Sarunas should take this matter into his hands so that the fandom is correct. I hope Sarunas overwatch the content and administrate the info on the game in the fandom. #

Picture files of the guns are easily acquired via inspect element

The dev will not and should not waste time on stuff the community is perfectly capable of handling themselves. He already struggles to keep up the schedule (remember when battledudes seasons used to release every 2 months? Yea?), and here you are trying to put even more work (and incredibly tedious, boring work, especially for a programmer) onto his plate.

I understand and fully support the "we need someone to keep the wiki fresh and relevant", but that someone cannot, will not, must not be the developer. I'd rather have a terrible wiki and a frequently updating game, than the other way around.

The entire point of this board is to discuss ideas, highlight problems, and seek solutions. If you are upset by that, well... sorry?

The matter of the wiki is, as d21 said, solely in the hands of the community. The problem is, who will we find that has experience with wiki pages and has a lot of time on their hands? I had a bunch of time for that, once. Until I burnt out. I can go back no longer because my FANDOM account has been deleted voluntarily.

I could handle it.

If i used and cared about all guns, that is. Yet, being a rocket main, my knowledge is heavily (and yes, voluntarily) restricted.

haha yeah the wiki should really be revived cuz i'm a d-mod there :) but honestly the bd wiki really is dead and probably won't be revived :/ i'd really love to see someone try tho
