While playing the game today, was thinking. Well it's a relatively well known thing that when dodging a sniper, dancing in place is better, whereas dodging bulletspam, moving in longer strides is the better choice (not that it matters much, since bulletspam is fucking impossible to dodge)
Okay, but could we have a sniper that is best dodged by constantly moving? Not just dancing in place, but moving?
I propose the new sniper: Eviction.
It works pretty much the same as #185 . There's a circle which follows every enemy on your screen. The further the enemy is, the faster it moves - but it's perfectly possible to outrun it by simply walking in the same direction. (Whether the enemy should see that circle, is not clear.)
If you shoot, your bullet passes through the circle, and the enemy is inside the circle, you score a hit. Effectively your bullet teleports straight into the enemy.
The weapon would need to be balanced very carefully to compensate. This is definitely one of the easier snipers - perhaps on par with M1 in terms of challenge. Perhaps it should deal relatively low damage, or have low bullet speed?
