Authentication Details not stored on when adding new server #178

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
On 3.13 beta 2 on windows 7 32bit:

To reproduce the problem:
1. Enter a new server.
2. Tick 'enable authentication'
3. Enter details
4. Click 'save' or 'connect and save' (connect will fail and report
unauthorized).
5. Open server settings again and the authentication details will not be
retained.

Note that if doing a version upgrade the servers already listed will have
associated authentication details, however these can not be changed.

Maybe you forgot to click the "save Server" button?

Yes you are right, this is in fact more of a usability issue, having entered the
authentication details one must move back to the first 'server' tab and click
the
save server button. Perhaps the whole server settings dialogue could be
redesigned?
