Sorry, some addition. I'm using Windows XP SP3.

I as well; seemingly random. Logged on to a Windows XP SP3 laptop (dual core,
1 GB
RAM), completely patched to-date. Launching transgui.exe uses about 40% CPU,
according to Task Manager, but no interface appears. Ending the .exe and
re-launching eventually works (with much less CPU usage when it's working).
Have
only ever installed and executed transgui.exe as one user. Sometimes it works,
sometimes it doesn't. So far nothing revealing in Event Viewer.
EDIT: Making no other changes, deleting the .ini file and launching again
seems to
work. Have to fill out the values again to reconnect to the daemon, of course.

Please send me transgui.ini file when this problem occurs.

Here's mine; I've removed / edited the obvious site / user / pass info, all the
rest
is untouched.
I notice 'Folder 5=' at the end looks a little different then the rest...is
that part
of the problem, do you think?
Thanks for any insight :)

Funny thing is, if I delete the .ini and launch Transmission-Remote, all is well
again (although I have to re-config everything again). Maybe 1.2 will be more
stable... thanks for your work...
