This PR updates JNS to have

performance tests (jest-puppeteer support)
upgraded jest
updated logic of JNS to set hidden attribute rather than re-render warnings to help with performance

Apologies for the numerous commits; a lot was to play around with the times on githubs CI I'm presuming the server that gets spun up doesn't have as many resources as my laptop.
