Might be better to only get dependabot updates for production dependencies: https://docs.github.com/en/code-security/dependabot/dependabot-version-updates/configuration-options-for-the-dependabot.yml-file

Those linter updates are not important for the MM module but trigger a update notification nonetheless

Good point. Updating the linters weekly makes little sense.

That the linters do not become completely outdated, an automatic process would not be bad. Can we do this once or twice a year? I don't see these kind of options in the documentation.

Regardless of the linters: I think it would be sufficient to update the production dependencies monthly instead of weekly.

With the switch to monthly (#123), the situation will be a bit more relaxed.

Whether it is possible to set a larger interval for the devDependencies would still be interesting.
