WAV file with 22050 Hz plays too fast

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Try to play a wav file (s16l) with 22050 Hz 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Play file in normal speed. 
Instead it is played back in ultra speed at least 2x faster than normal.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
compiled 0.8.1 on Debian Wheezy

Please provide any additional information below.

I am not sure if its a bug in qmmp, libsndfile. mplayer, ffmpeg and vlc play 
this file just fine.

Just to add. Soundoutput plugin used is alsa. And no pulseaudio is not 
insatlled

Your output device doesn't support 22050 Hz. Try to use SRC plugin.
