Connection cannot be established with Android L #259

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install Android L developer release 
2 . start OpenVPN and configure it
3. Connection doesn't get established 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What mobile phone are you using?
Nexus 5 
Which Android Version and stock ROM or aftermarket like cyanogenmod?
Android L stock 
Please provide any additional information below.

Same problem. 

Seems problem happend in adding route process. Program can't get system gateway 
so the default route setup failed.

@3 that log look perfectly fine. What does not work?
@4 Routing is very different on 4.4+ see the other (closed) ticket about that 
(you need to use ip rule and iptables -t mangle -L to show routing information)

Sorry for reply so late. 

The problem is after i connect to vpn successfully, there isn't any packages 
transform throw the vpn. The vpn info shows that both in and out data was zero. 
I think there is a route problem in it. Form the log there shows:

 2014-06-28 12:52:32 NOTE: unable to redirect default gateway -- Cannot read current default gateway from system

So I think the default route of vpn wasn't set correctly. Sorry for no more 
info because I have flash my phone back to 4.4.4. Later I'll try it on AVD.

The note is harmless you can ignore that. The default route is set correctly:
