The densitometer's firmware does not currently support any sort of localization. For local device usage, this is not a big problem. However, when bringing readings into a computer, it can become an issue. Most notably is the case of the decimal separator, which can be either a period or a comma depending on the user's country.
Making it possible to change the separator character is probably a good idea, pending some decisions as to the following details:
Should this affect the local device display, or just the USB interface?
If this affects the local device, should it take effect everywhere (i.e. configuration menus) or just on the main reading display?
Should this be a global setting, or just a format option for the USB Key Output?
