This is a feature that may make the user experience of adding a burn/dodge adjustment a lot nicer.
When in the adjustment editor, if the enlarger lamp is on, the meter probe button should take a reading. However, this reading should not go into the main exposure state. Rather it should be placed as an "overlay" on the current tone graph (possibly drawn in a slightly different style from the other marks). It will then be possible to visualize what the adjustment does to a specific point of interest.
Taking additional readings can just replace this highlighted one, rather than overlay a completely separate tone graph. Furthermore, there is no need to persist this reading as part of the configured adjustment state.
