Reduce board width by as much as possible, even if only a few millimeters can be taken out. The idea is to maximize how much we can then reduce the width of the overall enclosure, since the current prototype is a lot wider than the original prototype.
There's at least a millimeter that can be taken off either side. There may also be a few mm between connectors that can be taken out, but care must be taken to avoid risk of clearance issues.
