To reproduce:

set sleep time (e. g. 3 minutes)
wait until DP is asleep
wake DP by sending a HID event (using a modified ex1_open.py from profile autoswitcher - sending a "next profile" action)
DP is active again
do not press any key, just wait for another timeout

I can no longer reproduce this with beta (3.0) firmware, closing.
