Causes Browser Crash in Mobile Safari (iphone, ipad, ipod touch) #7

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Importing the Google Font API CSS stylesheet on the same page where jQuery
v 1.4 (served from Google code repository) is called, the result is 100%
crash in Mobile Safari. jQuery 1.3.2 is stable.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

expected output would be the page or since iPhone is not supported maybe
just the next font in the CSS stack.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Bug happens only on Apple's Mobile Safari browser. iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch.

Please provide any additional information below.

This bug is only replicable with jQuery 1.4, it seems to be stable with
jQuery 1.3.2

TypeKit says the problem is with loading multiple fonts/variants. Reducing
requests
to one fixed my crashes, even running jQ1.4.2 pulled from Google's JSAPI.

I believe this has now been fixed in iOS; please confirm.
