Updated for PHP 7 #33

Among the functions removed in PHP 7, mysql() and corresponding functions were among them. This updates all mysql functions to the newer mysqli() equivalents and allows for continued function on up-to-date systems.

I have absolutely no recollection of ever reviewing any of this but I am glad to see this is taken care of 😅
