i3blocks iface script and nm-applet conflict

nm-applet simply disconnects from a network rather than putting the interface down. We need a script that simply checks if any interface is up (ie, it has an IP address).

Otherwise deprecation of this script is acceptable as nm-applet handles status.

EDIT: moved to wicd as a network manager, need to create a new interface checking script or check if the default i3blocks one can suffice
