a few minor design improvements / suggestions

some design optimisations / suggestions (see screenshot)

• [ ] the plus button at the bottom right could use the same cross as the contact requests or at least not one with rounded corners
• [ ] the green indicators/counters for unread messages have their number not exactly centred (looks kind of irritating)
• [ ] standard background in conversation view could be something else (the pattern doesn't fit into the rest of the design)
• [ ] in contact view: material design icons for "rename contact","encryption" and "new chat" and so forth would make it look clearly arranged
• [ ] and if not already planned or in work, the app icon could be reworked (the flat icon in the status bar looks way better than the app icon) I think the app icon looks too close to the whatsapp one

Sneaking in some additional feature requests here: mp3 or wav instead of .ogg audio messages (as not able to be played by many clients) integration for webrtc (e.g just the handshake pointing to third party app) detect longitude latitude in messages displaying openstreetmap thumbnail

maybe it is a personal preference... at least proposing some other backgrounds for the users to chose from would be nice... will think of it...
