Option to disable permanent notification

I would like an option to disable this permanent notification ("Connected to a@b.c; waiting for messages ...") for the following reasons:

If I am well informed, this will prevent the android system from stopping this app when it runs out of memory. Of course, this may be useful, but personally, I would like it better if all apps were treated equally.
This notification is annoying me.

Nevertheless, this app is a great idea!

The permanent notification is disabled by default now, see https://github.com/deltachat/deltachat-android/issues/269
