Import times out and fails to import some components #336

Expected Behaviour

Import should always return an success/error alert.

Actual Behaviour

On some course imports the process never returns. Front end times out. Other imports work OK.

Seems to be an issue with bad data in the import. Possibly an orphaned asset or mal-formed/mis-matched JSON asset. Process never returns from these lines L645-L653
