Streams of Water in the Nether #97

Open xprincesspeach opened 4 years ago

xprincesspeach commented 4 years ago

I am using the latest release of Streams and Biomes o' Plenty for 1.12.2, and am getting streams generated mid-air in the Nether. I disabled BOP's Nether biomes, but the issue persisted. When I removed BOP entirely, the issue stopped.

EDIT: It also occurs with Quark.

FryoKnight commented 4 years ago

I'm getting the same issue too...

Kinda wise there was a config to blacklist dimensions...

Biviho commented 4 years ago

same issue here, a blacklist dimension is really needed, i had problems with lost cities with an higher water level and biomes o plenty in the nether

delvr commented 4 years ago

This might be a regression with Farseek 2.4. If you're using that version could you try downgrading to 2.3.2 and let me know if it still happens? Thanks!

Biviho commented 4 years ago

i will try, but it's not a consistent thing...are the streams related to the seed? if i regenerate a world, will i find a stream in the same place?

Biviho commented 4 years ago

tested a bit using the same seed, it looks like is a Farseek 2.4 thing, i havn't encountered a stream in any dimension except overworld, not even in overworld like dimension at the moment, i will keep Farseek 2.3.2 and let you know if i find something strange

YakosWG commented 4 years ago

I've only had this issue occur when installing both Quark and COFH Core (+Redstone Flux) together with Streams (+Farseek 2.4)

Edit: For clarity, streams only spawn in the overworld with Farseek 2.3.2

delvr commented 4 years ago

Farseek 2.5 should fix this regression, could you please give it a try? Thanks.

YakosWG commented 4 years ago

When testing with Quark/COFH, I have yet to find a single stream in the nether, so I would say this is fixed. Streams in the overworld seem to be working as intended.
