Delete content of var dir on re-install #506

Sometimes when i update from svn and reinstall i only get a blank page. If i delete the whole var dir then it works.

So a feature for deleting old config, dbdo, cache, tmp etc. on installation could be useful.

Maybe don't delete the INSTALL_COMPLETE file for security reasons.

Only a problem if accidently clicked in a multi-installation environment

[demian] a fix would be easy to create for this, existing code you can recycle, patch?

mavis wmk: so basically you want a feature that allows user to delete all old config files? mavis wmk: better yet, on re-install looks to see if files are present and if so, blows them away ??? wmk mavis: yup. on re-installation (rebuild Seagull afaik)
