update Smarty templates #899

just thought i'd better let you know that i appear to have 'broken' the demo. I added the theme switcher block and chose the smarty template and was then unable to reset it back to flexy. as a result, the demo bombs out on not finding the correct sub-folders (and templates) for smarty.

it would appear that the smarty templates are out of step with the current release.

[demian] i've removed smarty and savant from default releases, they must be explicitly installed

[demian] someone needs to volonteer for this, i'm not getting involved with Smarty stuff.
