Switch to msgpack #1

msgpack has much better performance especially when mixed with the Java implementation instead of the browser implementation. This could allow a possible native Android/iOS client with the current JavaScript daemon running on the client.

Is msgpack even still applicable or is that ancient history.

Yes, you should be using msgpack

I think we need to step back and consider how seriously we're taking this project.

Well, I don't use it anymore-- but if you wanted to spend time on it:

[ ] Switch to TypeScript
[ ] Use msgpack serializer for JSON
[ ] Split into server/client using Expo (React Native) as the client and use nipplejs for the joysticks
