I also struck the "key file does not exist" until I noticed that the address
for my key file had "%20" in place of commas and "%2C" in place of spaces.
When I replace these with the correct characters, the key file is located.
Hope this helps, David.

I suspect the problem here has something to do with the file explorer the
keypass app forces you to download, looks like it messes up the directory path
as the user above me pointed out. Maybe the author can work on making keypass
compatible with other explorers (ie. astro)?

I tried both fixes and with no luck. A reinstall seemed to fix the problem
though.

I've hit the "key file does not exist" problem today, having installed the app
for the first time. KeePass v2.12 on the windows desktop. KeePassDriod 1.9.6
on HTC Desire running Android 2.2. The required file explorer does not list the
key file in the dropbox directory. Having said that, neither does Astro. Hope
this helps!

I am having this problem too - This is after a factory reset and fresh
installations of KeePassDroid and OI File Manager (latest versions). I'm on
Android 3.1 (Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1).
I've tried uninstall/reinstall to no avail.
I also note that the .key file does not show up in OI File Manager (clearly
visible to Drop Box though!)
Very frustrating!

Nexus 7
Version 1.99.4
Go to droid dropbox
explicitly download the key file to local storage
use oi file manger to find it
load up, enter password and it works!

I am having the same problem, but I am (trying) to use it with my Blackberry
Z30.
Maybe it is an issue to provide the correct path. But what is correct?
Latest Version of BB OS and KeePassDroid

I have the same problem with HTC One (M8). The key file is visible from KP2A
when I selected it.

I Solved my issue by pasting (or typing will do) the exact path to the key file
and that solved it for me.
