Secrets Will Not Backup from Gmail Account

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.My phone went through hard reset
2.RIGHT before hard reset, I went into Secrets and hit backup. I had enabled 
backup in my gmail account. 
3.When I reinstalled the Secrets app, I used the same password and hit restore 
and the secrets was empty. When I go into Dashboard it only shows the new 
secrets file that is empty.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I wanted to see all of my secrets back on my phone since I backed them up prior 
to resetting it. I download the app again, used the same password and hit 
restore and there are no secrets. How do I restore my secrets?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 4.1.2

Please provide any additional information below.
My Secrets app was not installed on my phone once reset. I reinstalled it from 
My Apps on Google Play. I used the same password in the newly installed 
application.

Hi J, what phone are you using?  Does a hard reset also format the SD card?
What version of secrets are you using?
What do you mean "the secrets was empty"?
When you say dashboard, do you mean google.com/dashboard?
