User stories states a feature, but feature not implemented?

I am unsure which feature does this user story apply to? If it is deadline, there seems to be no reminder function.

Perhaps this is a misunderstanding by the user. The get reminded our team is referring to is the storing of deadlines so that the forgetful manager can store the deadline and list it whenever he wants to be reminded of what deadlines he has.

Hence, our team decide to reject this DocumentationBug in the User Stories due to misinterpretation of the User Story by the user.

Reason for disagreement: I disagree that it is a misinterpretation of the user story. As a reader and user of the Developer Guide, I interpreted that a reminder function has been implemented. When I was using the application, and cross-verifying with the user guide, there seems to be no reminder function.

I also disagree with how that feature fits the user story, as the feature does not address the "forgetful manager" part at all. If the manager is already forgetful, we cannot trust that the manager will remember to check the deadlines by listing them out. I would have expected a reminder as something that the forgetful manager does not need to do, such as a reminder message, to remind the manager of the deadlines.
