Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe

A clear and concise description of what the problem is. E.g. I'm always frustrated when [...] I appreciate the power of backlinks when using tags. However, it is very frustrating that there's no way to open the backlink in a new tab in VS Code. Currently, when you click on the backlink, it takes you to the file -- but then you lose access to the rest of the list of backlinks. Also, sometimes there may be multiple files that you want to access through their backlinks, but you can only open one at a time -- and then again, you lose the list of backlinks when you click.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like an option to always open backlinks as files in a new tab. Failing that, I would like the option to right click and choose to open a backlink as a new tab.

Currently, there is no alternative that I've found.
