I'd like to see this too! Importing citation keys from biblatex with pandoc-citer works fine, but they get rendered as plain text.
EDIT: Additionally one has to include the path to the citation library in each note. Would be nice if it could be integrated globally.
I'd like to see this too, with the addition of being able to have the citations rendered when built to a website.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe
[.After annotating the Markdown file with Zotero annotations (via the .Bib file), be able to frictionlessly export the Markdown file to PDF via Pandoc with the citations appropriately formatted via the style selected from Zotero. I.E. the inline citation (author date, page x) and the fully formed reference citation at the end of the document...]
Describe the solution you'd like
A workflow that consists of using the Zotero plug-in or Cite-Proc plugin to inline select a citation reference from the connected Zotero BibText database, and then when the Markdown file is to be exported to a PDF document, the selected citation is rendered appropriately in the finished document with the inline desired citation format such as author-date with added page number(s), and then the full citation reference appropriately rendered at the end of the document.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I have been looking at Zettlr.com and their PDF renditions of citations are beautiful.
