What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

home page UI, navbar UI, preferences page UI
created Figma prototypes and designed to scale
used google maps API to meet one of our minimum requirements
fully componentized project

What were any major issues/challenges?

our version of material UI doesn’t match the docs for some reason. We had to dig into the specific implementations to work out how to change colours, shapes, etc. in hacky ways
having some issues with nested CSS grids. May switch to flex box soon

What are you working on next week?

connecting Redux for login, preferences pages
finishing Google API work. Meet our next minimum requirement (radius display for the map). Discuss how to connect it to the API with John and Wesley.
make the app responsive. Fix the display issues we currently have ( with different viewport widths )

Shoutout to @jvssicawu for doing most of the design and @pwesferguson and @js1998 for doing all of the API work

Also if a TA sees this, my other team members have their scrum reports as a comment under their old scrum reports. Sorry for being disorganized 😭
