A battery device cannot record and take a snapshot at the same time? Link
in certain modes it is not possible to take a screenshot? (which makes sense tbh).
Look, I'm not sure if it is all true, but maybe worth looking into? I will try some of the options tomorrow, because I also get a empty screenshot with a battery device.
This, and together with the out of sync initial settings when adding the device, might explain the strange behaviour of some device and the difference between battery and non battery powered devices.
