The CODWR database is the "data of record".
Should the user be allowed to update permit data after adding a permit?
Or should the flow go like this: -User navigates to add permit form -User inputs permit data -Assisted by pre-filled data from CODWR database. (filling out data might be complicated because of limited query capability of CODWR)

When adding well permits to my account, multiple permits popped up for each permit number (“Permit issued” and “Well constructed” for some, two “Well constructed” for a couple, “Permit issued” and “Well abandoned” for one that is currently in use).
Also, some permit numbers in your system had different suffixes than are on the forms Castle Rock has been submitting (8534-FP is what’s on our forms, 8534-RFP is what popped up in your tool’s permit search).
I recognize that at this point you’re just hoping I can use the tool to generate PDFs for email submittal, so these duplicates and discrepancies likely don’t matter, but if this does eventually become a means of automatically uploading data to the State, it would be helpful to consolidate those different permits or clarify which ones users should add.
