Princess 353200 (Smart Airconditioner with Dehumidifier)

Hi!, Awesome integration did you build!

I have a new airco with dehumid function.

What works:

• Target temp
• current temp
• Operation Off
• Fan mode off, turns of the device

What doesnt work:

• Operation setting to cool: sets the device on at the last known setting (if it was at dehumidifier it would start dehumidfier)
• Operation setting to heat (doesnt have a heat operation)
• No Operation setting dehumidfier
• Fan mode and Swing mode not working

I have also taken delivery of a Princess 353200 this week, and so I was also looking to get its functions working. I am aware that the airconditioner is already added in your homewizard-climate-ws fork, but not yet in the hass extension. And thus, I've tried my best to follow the open issues here.

I have it mostly working now, but I've never used github to share before and am quite certain it could be much improved. Nevertheless, here is my climate.py file so you can try it out and let me and/or @dennis1804 know your findings.

Working:

• Set preset ('dehumidify', 'fan', and 'cool')
• Set temperature (note: only works when airconditioner is set to the 'cool' preset)

Not working:

• Setting fan speed
• Set swing mode on/off (had this working before, so should be an easy fix)

Also note that the device only seems to accept any commands if the airconditioner is already turned on. climate.py.zip

well, damn the timing @Oldekamp, i was about to respond to this message. thanks for that zip, code looks okay and i made a pull request for it. seems to run fine on my homeassistant so i think i'll merge it

Thanks for your response @dennis1804 ! It's quite a good feeling that it is seen as a useful contribution, please do give it a lookover, as like I said it can use quite some improvement still. I just wanted to push this out for others to try. ^^
