Currently for the inline code the only customisation is to change the background color which is sufficient for most cases. However, adding a slightly darker border around the inline code would make it "prettier" and stand out better from the rest of the text.

Update the elements.styl file.
Potentially introduce a new custom property, like --uie-color-border-inline-code that will allow users to overwrite it.
Additional context
Refresh the overall look of the application.
