Tested on Windows but not yet on macOS...

HELP WANTED: It would be great if someone could test the test_update_cycle.ps1 script on a macOS system. :-)

@Moosems Yeah, I agree. Honestly, I forget why I even decided to use powershell for this...

Just dumping this here for now. Haven't had a chance to test.. Just a straight conversion to bash test_update_cycle.sh.txt
