What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to download 60 minutes from:
http://ipad-streaming.cbsnews.com/media/mpx/2014/10/05/338079299674/60_FULL_1005
14_287241_1800/60_FULL_100514_287241_1800.m3u8

Original m3u8 is 
http://ipad-streaming.cbsnews.com/media/mpx/2014/10/05/338079299674/60_FULL_1005
14_287241_tablet.m3u8

Full page is 
http://www.cbsnews.com/videos/the-director-cancer-drugs-smartest-dog/

2. Segments are downloaded to directory
3. Segments are reassmbled, output is only first 13 min and timestamp issues at 
transition.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
17.3, win7 64-bit

Please provide any additional information below.
RTMP discovery of streams works, but bitrate/resolution is not as good as m3u8 
files available.

I had the same issue.
After the download is completed, don't do anything to the files.
Instead, type the same url again and the files will be reassembled.
You can delete the files other than mp4 after the video is downloaded 
successfully.
Please tell me if this is useful in your case as it worked in my case.
