Hello,

we're currently thinking about trying dent for usage with CellSite Gateway HW from ufispace (S9500-30XS) and/or EdgeCore (AS7316-26XB). Both models run on Broadcom Qumran-AX BCM88470 We have both of them available for testing as well.

Would be great to add support for them, if we can help, let us know how.

There is no switchdev support for Broadcom devices, so that’s currently not possible for dentOS. If you convinced Broadcom to contribute that support, this would be doable.

If you have pull with Broadcom and could convince them of the values/virtues of contributing a mainlined driver for the BCM88470 that would be most excellent. Unfortunately at this time your only option for Broadcom is either a custom proprietary option using their SDK or maybe SONiC/SAI.
