Here's feedback from user Matt Gray:

It would be nice to be able to lay-out more than one photo on each slide column. We were able to overcome this by creating PowerPoint slides with multiple images and then uploading these as one image to Floodlight, but something within the Floodlight platform would probably help with ease and image quality.

Examples of stories that use this method are at: http://floodlightproject.org/en/explore/?organizations=b0c203d150f54a369c6c17b8887843c7

Were all of the "powerpoint slide" images they created fairly straightforward grid-based layouts or were they more freeform? Meaning, we've talked about a different layout engine for each section - one version pretty much still follows a grid-constrained layout whereas the other is more like a scrapbooking application.

My gut tells me the scrapbooking one is more complex to build (collisions and overlaps, etc.), so if users don't need all of that additional layout flexibility, maybe a grid-based one will work for us?
